HOUSTON, Texas (May 2, 2018) – Gulf States Toyota (GST), one of the world’s largest independent distributors of Toyota vehicles and parts, has been recognized by Forbes as one of America’s Best Midsize Employers in 2018 in its annual ranking of the top companies for employee satisfaction. The list includes the top 500 midsize companies in the U.S. with between 1,000 and 5,000 employees.

In developing the rankings, Forbes partnered with consumer research firm Statista to survey more than 30,000 employees at companies employing at least 1,000 people across 25 industry sectors. Questions addressed topics such as working conditions, salary, potential for development and company image. The most weighted question asked respondents if they would recommend their own company to others. Respondents were also asked which other companies they would or would not recommend.
