MILL VALLEY, CALIF. (August 9, 2018) – Auberge Resorts Collection, a portfolio of extraordinary hotels, resorts and residences, has once again been honored as one of the world’s top hotel brands in Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Awards. The 2018 edition of the annual readers’ poll celebrating the best hotels, cruise lines, airlines and destinations, has also awarded eight iconic Auberge Resorts Collection properties – Napa Valley’s Solage, Auberge du Soleil and Calistoga Ranch, Chileno Bay Resort & Residences and Esperanza in Los Cabos, Mexico, Hacienda AltaGracia in Costa Rica, Mukul in Nicaragua and Malliouhana in Anguilla – among the very best resorts in their destinations.
“We are honored that Auberge Resorts Collection has once again been named one of the world’s top hotel brands by one of the most trusted audiences in travel today, the discerning readers of Travel + Leisure.” said Craig Reid, Chief Executive Officer, Auberge Resorts Collection. “We thank our entire team for their dedication to delivering an extraordinary level of service, as well as our loyal guests who have recognized the memorable experiences our resorts offer.”
All three of Auberge’s California properties were ranked among the Top 10 Resorts in California – the most hotels of any brand. Solage, the active and social Napa Valley resort, was voted No. 3, while Auberge du Soleil, the brand’s flagship, inspired by the South of France and infused with California soul, ranked No. 5, and Calistoga Ranch, the rustic-chic lodge tucked in a secluded canyon, took No. 6 honors. Auberge’s contemporary new Chileno Bay Resort & Residences Los Cabos, Mexico and Esperanza, its intimate and dramatic sister property in Cabo, were both ranked among the top 10 destinations in Mexico. Auberge Resorts Collection was the only hotel brand honored with two properties among the Top 5 Resorts in Central America: Hacienda AltaGracia, the hillside resort in the lush region of Perez Zeledon, Costa Rica, and Mukul the beachside resort on Nicaragua’s sun-soaked Emerald Coast. Caribbean honors went to Anguilla’s vibrant and stylish Malliouhana, voted among the Top Resorts in the Caribbean, Bermuda and Bahamas.
Reid says, “As Auberge Resorts Collection continues to expand, we look forward to welcoming our guests with more iconic experiences at our new properties in development in Santa Fe, at Bishop’s Lodge, in Utah, at the Lodge at Blue Sky, in Austin at Commodore Perry Estate, at Susurros del Corazon in Punta Mita and at Mauna Lani in Hawaii.”
